National Hate Crime Conference America Forever was there representing the children. On April 19, 2000, in Ogden, Utah, the National Hate Crime conference was held. It was sponsored by the Department of Justice and the Museum of Tolerance from Los Angeles. The Museum of Tolerance director is Jewish, and it was established to tell the sad stories of the Jew's persecutions by Hitler, and promote tolerance towards the human race. It works to combat the white supremacist, that continuously promote discrimination, on the account that someone is not white only. When America Forever heard through the local Newspaper about the event, and how they were going to have a round table made up of various important people, such as representatives of Justice Department, FBI, Police Department, ACLU, Representatives of various groups, including , the Hispanic, Samoan, Asian, and African American communities, including Senators and many others, to create a document to be sent to Washington to help pass the Hate Crime Bill, America Forever placed a call to try to represent the CHILDREN, the Young of Tender Ages which cannot speak for themselves. At a State local level, one of America Forever’s Youth along with a 3 year old child testified in front of the Utah Senate to help defend the Hate Crime Bill, which was written by a Homosexual, an attorney part of the Department of Justice, and was sponsored by Senator Pete Suazo. The hate crime bill’s sole purpose was to add the word Sexual Orientation, along with religions, and color to give extra protection to Gays, and Lesbians. On the Federal Level, the Hate Crime bill was pushed very strongly also because of the Gays and Lesbians, (homosexuals). In fact, on April 6, 1999, President Clinton mentioned that the Hate Crime bill would, along with the help of AT&T, promote to teach children at elementary age 8, under the guise of tolerance about homosexual and how they should be respected. What many good Americans are not aware of is the fact that are various schools in the Nation, in Boston, Brooklyn , New York, California, that children are already learning tolerance towards Homosexuals, Gays and Lesbians with books such as HEATHER HAS TO MOMMIES, books in form of children’s story books that tells of a little girl who was born to a lesbian woman, and it went on to explain about artificial insemination and much more. America Forever felt it was important to participate at this conference, to make sure that the other side of the coin would be presented and that the children would be protect. Great effort was made, with not avail, since the controlling party, the Department of Justice, said there was no more room at the round table. After a letter of request and after requesting them to remove the word THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE which they advertised was the name of the document they were going to put together, with acknowledgment that they were not going to use the phrase, since this was a phrase of America Forever, and since America Forever was against the Hate Crime Bill, did not want them to use in their documents which would favor Hate Crime Legislation. America Forever decided to attend the conference and was still insisting to those in control that we wanted to participate and present the other side. With the knowledge that there was only one other senator, senator Valentine, that would be representing views against Hate Crime Legislation, and over 20 people at the round table presenting vies in favor. At the last minute, senator Valentine was not confirmed to attend due to a special legislation called on gun control, so America Forever requested once again to participate, when it was informed that there could be no changes of names, since everyone in the round table had been interviewed. To much surprise, America Forever’s representative went in the hall heard them changing and signing new people to those who did not show. Confronting the actions towards America Forever, finally they allowed America Forever to participate at the round table. Toward the end, AMERICA FOREVER became to stone on everyones, for when solely AMERICA forever presented the other side of the coin on Hate Crime, and how these children should be protected, raging adults, men and women, in a Hate Crime tolerance Conference, assaulted America Forever not even allowing the person to speak, the entire scenario became even worse, our American Forever member said : you cannot call me racist because I came from a country that we did “not even” have these problems of the African American like America had, whereas the African American in the audience misunderstood and stood up screaming along with everyone else assaulting our member, by which she again said: you must have misunderstood me, maybe it is my poor English, when I said “not even” it did not mean anything , except that in fact we did not have wars of racism and prejudice, it meant that Brazil did not have the same racial problems as America. At the end, Ken Vordoia, before allowing our representative to make final remarks, told our representative, how he admired her courage to stand for what she believed, and be so scrutinized by a powerful crowd like theirs, and our representative lost its composure and begun to cry, by which she said, I could feel the Hate you had for me today, and how you lack tolerance for the views I presented in behalf of every America Child who should have the rights to be raised without the pursue, enticement, and insinuation, of homosexuality. Hate Crime laws should not exist anyway, because the more you divide the races the more hate you will create. But most of all, you definitely cannot look and give special rights to homosexuals, under the pretense that they are a race, or ethnic group, because that will confuse the children even more. It will validate homosexuality to the children, and if the government starts to make laws to protect people because of the way they have sex. This will be a form of propaganda to the children. After the round table was over, many came and apologize to our representative, saying it was inexcusable behavior to assault her like that, the director of the meeting from the museum of tolerance, Mr. Mark Weitzman from Los Angeles, petitioned our representative to please not leave and offered her free lunching. At the lunching and through out the day’s conference, the mention of how America Forever helped them to see the real problem on this homosexuality issue, and the lack of tolerance was the main issue. At the end, our representative stayed and participated in the different workshops, and to end, fought the issue that many openly expressed the desire that children at young age should be taught about homosexuality. At the end, very little of that conference was accomplished by those who organized to create a document to take to Washington. However, America Forever felt it has served its rights to present the other side, and to bring out the real issue, that those who are in favor of homosexuality, lesbianism and gay lifestyle, lack a great deal of tolerance when it comes to show the other side and that they have no Tolerance whatsoever, and their hate towards those who believe otherwise is easily displayed by the lack of tolerance in using the force of law to validate their acts of sexual pleasure and sexual conduct that should be kept private in behalf of the children. Throughout the end of the conference the debate on the desire to teach the children was a serious one and one that is a real one . The next time you hear about HATE CRIME BILL LEGISLATION please stand against it, let your congressmen, and government people know that people should be punished by the crime they have committed, and the justice should be blind, and judge the crime to the full extent of the law. Hate Crimes discriminate you and everyone else, but most of all, keep all the wording of Sex Orientation out of the legislation. This year alone America Forever worked very hard to keep the Hate Crime bill out, after working in Utah, sent briefs, and letter to various committees handling the hate crime bill in congress. To the last minute before legislation closed, many did not know that they included language of Hate Crime in the appropriation bill, The Budget, if you believe it or not. It would make a difference and interfere even in everyone's free speech. Up to the last minute, briefs on Save the Innocence, along with a music CD to Save the Innocence, were delivered to every member of the committee in Washington. Further, we called various other groups, requesting phone calls, and emails to be sent to their representatives. The hate crime wording was in the last minute removed from the appropriation 1217 Bill in Washington. AMERICA FOREVER CONTINUES TO BE SERIOUS IN SAVING THE INNOCENCE. |
